Helping local non-profits spread good energy and win up to $10,000 for community improvement projects
The top 10 Hometown Grant finalists for 2023 have been selected! Now it's time for you to do your part: VOTE for your favorite community projects. The four projects with the most 'likes' by March 24 will each win up to $10,000 to complete their projects, plus a day with a team of Evergy volunteers to help.

We'll review the submissions and contact the top 10 finalists on or before March 7.

- The 4 projects with the most "likes" by March 24 at 5pm CST will each win up to $10,000—plus, a team of Evergy employee volunteers* for a day!

Project Examples
Get inspired! Here are just a few examples of potential projects:
- Improve a community space that helps vulnerable and underserved populations
- Host an environmental project such as a park and trail improvements
- Design a program to help stimulate workforce readiness or youth development

Winning projects will demonstrate how the organization can use both the $10,000 grant and a team of Evergy employee volunteers for one day. The one-day Evergy volunteer event must take place between April 14–April 30, 2023 and will be coordinated and mutually agreed-upon by Evergy and the winning organization.
