Evergy Cares Kansas Fund
Eligible Kansas customers may qualify for assistance towards their overdue account balance.
Please note: you do not qualify if you have received $500 or more in energy assistance in the last 90 days or Evergy Cares assistance in the previous 12 months.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Household meets income guidelines in the chart below (up to $200 in assistance)
-OR-
Household meets income guidelines AND:
- Age 65 or older (up to $400 in assistance)
- Receiving permanent disability income from Social Security (up to $400 assistance)
