Evergy Cares Kansas Fund
This program is available to our Evergy Kansas customers located in the Wichita area. We also have similar programs available for our customers in Missouri and other parts of Kansas.
Eligible Kansas customers may qualify for assistance towards their overdue account balance.
Please note: you do not qualify if you have received more than $500 in energy assistance in the last 90 days or Evergy Cares assistance in the previous 12 months.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Household meets income guidelines in the chart below (up to $200 in assistance)
-OR-
Household meets income guidelines AND:
- Age 65 or older (up to $400 in assistance)
- Receiving permanent disability income from Social Security (up to $400 assistance)
